We create and maintain beautiful gardens and landscapes that you will love, gardens for you, designed with you
We originate from the academic and professional background of Landscape Architecture and we want to bring this approach and service to individuals and families as well as to organisations
Other specialist skills are arboriculture, woodlands, wildlife ecology and conservation, and natural and environmental resource use
We have particular experience in community engagement, local growing of fruit and vegetables, interactive panoramic photography, and the history of landscape architecture, garden design and the natural and human environment

“Christiane has been maintaining our large, steep, natural garden for over two years now. She… is a knowledgeable Plantswoman, which is reflected in her work. She is competent in all aspects of garden maintenance and design. She cares for our herbaceous borders with sensitivity, cuts our hedges and prunes our shrubs and trees. In addition she is friendly, considerate and reliable. I feel confident for her to work unsupervised in our garden, which as a retired professional gardener myself, speaks volumes! I recommend Christiane (Ohlandscape) without reservation“

‘It is easy to get a gardener who will mow your lawn, hack down weeds and chop things back. But getting someone with real knowledge of plants is a little more difficult. Christiane not only manages to name most of the plants in my three quarters acre garden but knows how and when to prune them for the best result. She also knows a lot about the best environment for different plants and therefore where planting is likely to work well and where a particular plant or shrub might not do so well…. I totally trust Christiane with my garden and she has transformed it. I cannot recommend her more highly’

‘A consistently good professional service‘

‘Christiane has a wealth of knowledge of plants and flowers…. and worked tirelessly in my garden. She has been the very best of gardeners‘

You love your garden but when you look outside you are overwhelmed by the amount that needs to be done. You are also looking for a bespoke and fresh planting design.
You are a councillor and you wince every time you visit a particular part of your urban space, for it is devoid of plant life. You understand that improving the everyday landscape of people going about their lives can have a transformative effect because — quite simply — the perception of an environment influences human well being. You are looking for some ideas or for someone to share some of your own ideas.
You are a farmer or landowner and you want to enhance the biodiversity of your land especially some corners of several fields and also some hedgerows. You are experienced in this kind of work but still you would like some independent thoughts and informal suggestions. There may be some possible opportunities that could be easily missed.
You are quietly enjoying your retirement living in your cosy bungalow and tending to your flowers and bird table during the day but you wonder what forms of wildlife visit your garden at night. You would like some advice about suitable wildlife cameras or simply for someone to set up a camera on loan for a week or two to find out what creatures are also benefiting from your garden. Perhaps you would like to have a wildlife garden.
You are a school teacher and you would like to introduce your seven year olds to the joys of vegetable plots and growing flowers. You could do it yourself but you are very busy designing new lessons and marking homework.
